Dear Friends and Neighbors of Lewis and Nez Perce Counties

Now that Fairs, Festivals, and Parades are concluded, I want to update you on the work Senator Dan Johnson and I are doing throughout District 6.

We have been visiting with dentists and doctors, teachers, farmers, Mental Health and Health and Welfare workers, Corrections personnel, energy co-ops, higher education leaders, Chambers, and water and timber constituent groups, to name just a few.

We enjoyed one of the most serene and colorful Fall seasons this year. It made beautiful flying weather for this Flying Legislator. It also made traveling our district and meeting with constituents where they live and work a very enjoyable experience. This job involves a lot of travel, but I enjoy it and it truly helps me understand the different issues in our District communities.

I’ve created a Blog to inform you of some of the issues that may be coming up in the Legislature during the 2014 session that begins January 6. I hope you will find it to be informative and useful. The blogspot will include online surveys where you can express opinion.

With the holiday season approaching, I will take some time to visit children and grandchildren. May you enjoy family and friends, too.

As always, thank you to all of you who email, call, or stop for a chat in the store or at various events. Your encouraging words and lively conversations are very important.

In service,
